DIDI 2.0
Our recent DIDI 2.0 focuses on students grades 10 - 12 and gives the cohort hands-on experiences in welding, machining, engineering, and robotics. Our new program follows the DIDI 2.0 model for grades 7-9, with more of a focus on coding and technology. This is an impressionable age group and by giving them opportunities and hands-on experiences, as well as meeting community leaders and professionals, we hope to get the wheels turning on what possible careers they could pursue in the future.
DIDI 2.0 was greatly appreciated by the schools and area manufacturers – so much so that we were written into a grant through the Appalachian Regional Commission to create a Career Academy, using Generator Z DIDI 2.0 as a model for academies in medicine, agriculture, entrepreneurship, and manufacturing, allowing us to continue the work we started with Generator Z DIDI 2.0 and expand it to other STEM related careers.
